With this Norwegian app "Life Support" can save lives with the help of mobile phone. The app guides you in Cardiac resuscitation for adults, both through film and text.

This app has been developed by the association Rein Rus with the assistance of skilled health personnel and by European Resuscitation Council guidelines for Cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Association Rein Rus is a voluntary organization working with drug prevention and health promotion.

Cardiac resuscitation with combination of chest compressions and breaths is still recommended method of resuscitation. The guidelines that apply CPR on adults (30 compressions and two breaths) is in accordance with European Resuscitation Council guidelines. The reason for the policy is based on a broad research and academic community. Certainly recommended simplified method using only chest compressions if one is not willing to perform mouth-to mouth breaths, but the combination chest compressions and breaths are thus still the best method for the patient. We recommend that you enroll in current CPR courses to train for this combination.

The app has in addition to CPR guide a website link which among other things has an updated overview of CPR courses in Norway.
