In this post, I am going to show you how to install Job Search on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Job Search using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Job Search" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 1] For better performance and compatibility, choose BlueStacks 5 Nougat 64-bit read more

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

How to install Job Search on Windows PC using NoxPlayer

  1. Download & Install NoxPlayer at: https://www.bignox.com. The installation is easy to carry out.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file to the NoxPlayer interface and drop it to install

Job Search (red)
Find job vacancies throughout England or local to you. For a local job search, just tap on ‘Show Search Form’, enter your postcode and tap on ‘Search’.

You can also search for jobs by:
• Job Title
• Skills or Keywords
• Location
This opens the Universal Jobmatch where you can search for jobs in the UK or local to you.

When you first open Job Search, tap on the ‘x’ to close Cookies, tap on ‘Show Search Form’, enter your postcode and tap on search. Then all of the job vacancies in your local area will be displayed - to find out more information about the job just tap on the job title.

Apprenticeship Search (green)
Find Apprenticeships throughout England or local to you. For a local Apprenticeship search enter your postcode (including spaces) and tap on ‘Search’

You can also search for Apprenticeships by:
• Job title, description, Employer or Ref. number
• Town or city
• Distance from you
• Apprenticeship level
This opens the GOV.UK website where you can search for Apprenticeships, to find out more information about the Apprenticeship just tap on the job title. If you want to apply for an Apprenticeship, you will need to register on GOV.UK, be over 16, live in England and not in full-time education.

School Jobs (blue)
Thinking about working in a school (jobs in FE Further Education)? School jobs are generally term time jobs, so you work when the school is open and are off during the school holidays.
To search for a school job that’s local, just enter your postcode, select your distance ie. 5 miles and tap an ‘Search’.

You can also search for school jobs by:
• Job title or keyword
• Location
• Distance
This opens TES website, where you can search for teaching jobs, lecturing jobs and education jobs in United Kingdom. To find out more information about a job, just tap on the job title.

College Jobs (orange)
Thinking about working in a college (jobs in FE Further Education)? To search for college jobs local to you, tap on ‘Advanced search’, tap on ‘Location’, enter your postcode, then ‘Distance’ ie. 5 miles and tap ‘Search Jobs’, tap on ‘Role’, select any role, tap on ‘Search Jobs’.

You can also search for college jobs by:
• Job title or keyword
This opens FEjobs website where you can search for jobs by region, or by college. To find out more information about a job, just tap on the job title.
