Step By Step Guide To Install EV Decider (Thesis Prototype) using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. The goal of the thesis is to develop an app that helps people decide if they can switch to an electric vehicle. You csn for example use the app to track how far you travel by car each day and see if that is within range of what electric vehicles are capable of.

You have been invited to help me test the final prototype. Since it is a prototype and not a finished product it is very bare bones and most of the data (such as locations of charging stations) are fake and should not be used for real world decision. The main thing I require feedback on is the user experience and not the features of functionality of the app. Are certain parts of the app hard to understand? Is it hard to use? Positive feedback is of course also welcome.

I need your feedback at the latest the 3rd of September (3/9/2017).
