Step By Step Guide To Install Lean SMS (Unreleased) using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

Lean SMS addresses the weakness of SMS apps by adding the ability to create folders and assign contacts and messages to those folders, like with Gmail. Personal, Business and Archive are the default folders. Prioritizing messages is critical in a business environment. Lean SMS uses a Flagging feature to assist yours in prioritize important messages. Each message that comes in will have a gray flag, tap once on the flag and it changes to Red which signifies urgent or important. Tap twice, and it changes to flag to Green, not as urgent but requires follow up. The header of the App will show you the number of flagged messages. This is a great reminder system since important messages in the morning that require follow-up can be off the screen by early afternoon but with the Flagging count in the header, you won't miss another important text.
