Application in development that allows only the CONSULTATION of the corporate email of Guardia Civil.

To use the application it is necessary to have an email account @ guardiacivil.es

If you have an Android phone and want to check the corporate mail of Guardia Civil.

Only allows you to check your email and download attachments. (nothing else).

You can not answer, forward, delete, search, mark as ......... (In the future)

It is for email accounts. To access, you just have to enter your user name (and the password evidently) without indicating @ guardiacivil.es

The same as in the intranet.

You need the permissions that you request to be able to see in the application the photo of the contact that sent you the mail (if you have it kept clear).

It also asks for access to the storage to save the attachments of the emails only once and that you do not consume data every time you access that particular email.

The first time you log in it takes quite a while since you have to upload all your messages and it can take a long time.

You can retry it several times until it gets all the messages loaded, it is possible that there are enough people accessing the mail and the Guardia Civil web page will not be able to support so much load.

Once it is accessed correctly the first time it is no longer necessary to re-identify yourself and every X time you will consult your corporate email.

When all the emails are loaded you will see some strange characters in the message text but it will be temporary, until the app is improved.

What happens if you see your old emails that are in your workplace?

What has happened to you is that in the Outlook Express of your job in GC you have marked that * you do not leave a copy of the emails in the server * and therefore Outlook deletes them from the server and the app does not know that they exist that can not load them.

This also prevents you from having access to emails from different computers since only 1 will have the original.

The app will not have access to those old mails if you have already read them Outlook and that option is checked.

If your version is Outlook Express:

To enable (or disable) the option to leave a copy of the message on the server, follow these steps:

Open Outlook.
Click on the file tab> account settings> account settings.
Highlight the current POP3 account and click change. Note: The window that opens will tell you what type of email account you have. (Search in type).
Select more settings and click Advanced.

You should see a check box titled: leave a copy of the messages on the server.
Activating the checkbox will allow you to leave a copy of the message on the server.

Note: Activating Leave a copy of the message on the server will allow you to access your email from multiple computers.
