In this post, I am going to show you how to install SBGR WebSDR + ADS-B on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install SBGR WebSDR + ADS-B using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "SBGR WebSDR + ADS-B" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

This project is in testing phase, as was done with the goodwill of friends who donated some obsolete equipment, but, somehow, able to carry out this project. The main intention was to spend as little as possible, reuse stationary equipment and rely on the cooperation of people who joined the idea of ​​building this monitoring station.

The servers are located in my home, with home Internet low speed, so connection errors, slow or small audio problems may occur. The maximum user capacity of 10 simultaneous connections due to low upload speed.

WebSDR tuned to the RX band Forum: 120-121MHz, and 134-136MHz using two dongles RTL2832U J R820T with an antenna pole.

ADS-B using a dongle, and R820T RTL2832U a collinear antenna (PY4ZBZ design).

The receptors are located in Guarulhos, SP, GRID: GG66rn with a distance of about 6 km from the airport.
