Community Profiles, an interactive data tool from the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University, empowers app users to learn more about their communities and use data to identify and address community needs. Drawing from 2010 U.S. Census data, Community Profiles provides a picture of key indicators for demographics and housing throughout West Michigan, making it possible to compare different locations and better understand life across the region.

App users can explore the map by selecting from a drop-down list of counties and cities in West Michigan, as well as Grand Rapids neighborhoods. Users can also search by entering a specific address. Each map selection displays a summary of eleven (11) key data points for the area.
