The Red Cross of the Democratic Republic of Congo is a neutral and independent humanitarian organization, auxiliary to the public authorities in the humanitarian field, recognized by the Congolese State as a National Voluntary Relief Society through the Decree-Law of 1 March 1961. As such, the CRRDC plays its role of auxiliary to the public authorities in accordance with the 7 fundamental principles guiding the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement of which it is a member.
To cope with disasters and crises of all kinds in the country, the DRC Red Cross, present throughout the national territory with branches in all 26 provinces, has to date more than 160,000 volunteers of which nearly 105,000 trained and active rescuers.

In order to better popularize its services, the DRC Red Cross has developed a digital application thanks to the technical support of Connectik, a company specializing in the design and development of digital applications.
The digital application of the DRC Red Cross is designed as a platform to inventory its programs and projects in order to make them visible to users and its partners. It offers different users the opportunity to make donations that will be part of the intensification of actions of the Red Cross Senegal in favor of vulnerable groups
It also serves as a window for companies and companies to market their products and services to populations.
