Buenas Nuevas 105.5 FM and 830 AM are the first Spanish-language broadcasters of GMF-Christian Media.

Share the good news of the gospel through music and messages to thousands of Latinos residing in Memphis and serve the community with events for the whole family.

Good News Memphis is presented by the Global Ministries Foundation.

We exist in order to strengthen individuals and churches in the work of reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ and ministering to those in need.

The idea to start the Hispanic radio division of our ministry was born right here in Memphis.

In 2017, God showed our executive director, Dr. Richard Hamlet (above right), how lacking was the Memphis Latinos in a medium like this. His heart as an evangelist made him decide to form the new stations for the proclamation of the gospel to the Spanish speakers of the city.

At the same time, Irving Ravelo (on the right below) who is Development Director of the Global Ministries Foundation, knowing that there were no Christian stations broadcasting to the thousands of families in Memphis, expressed the need to establish new media.

Shortly after, Ravelo assumed the position of developer and manager of the radio ministry Buenas Nuevas, and its two stations. Of these, 105.5, with its coverage of more than 50 miles around, became the first FM broadcaster licensed by the Federal Communications Commission of the United States (FCC) to serve the metro area in Spanish.
