To accompany the return of the carioca revelry in 2022, the app Carnaval na Sapucaí, which had also taken a break, is back and with news: in addition to the new look, the app brings new content, corrections and improvements in its features.
And, in response to suggestions sent by our users, the field 'search' - to facilitate the search for the subjects of interest - and a 'samba gallery' - per association - were included, starting with Empress Leopoldinense and, soon, covering all the schools of the Special Group.
So, I invite you to download the app Carnaval na Sapucaí (if you already have it, don't forget to update it) and I'll give you 10 reasons for that:
- enjoy Carnival and love the samba school parades at the Sambódromo in Rio de Janeiro;
- have access to information about the preparations for the parades of the samba schools of Grupo Especial and Série Ouro (technical file, synopsis, samba-plot, etc.) that parade in the Sambódromo in Rio de Janeiro;
- be able to listen to all official samba-enredo albums since 1984, the year the Sambódromo was inaugurated;
- remember the classifications of samba schools (with the respective plots and carnivals) from the first official parade, year after year, and in exclusive tabs by association;
- listen to all the sambas-enredo, year after year, in an exclusive gallery for each samba school (still under construction: starting with Empress Leopoldinense and, soon, covering all schools in the Special Group);
- watch documentaries about the carioca carnival and review all the champion parades since 1984;
- have book tips on themes related to Carnival;
- read the main news about the preparations for the Rio Carnival and the parades in Sapucaí;
- get to know Sapucaí's essential services: sectors, how to get there, interdictions in the surrounding streets, useful telephone numbers, etc;
- receive alerts and notifications about the news entered in the app.
Carnival at Sapucaí: the samba school parades at the Sambódromo carioca in the palm of your hand! Every day of the year. And wherever you are.
And fly! s2

ABOUT THE APP:
What is the order of the Rio Carnival parades? What do the regulations of LIESA and LigaRJ, entities that, in partnership with RIOTUR, command the four days of the greatest show on earth? What are the requirements and who will judge them? Which samba schools are going to pass, and have already been, through the Sambódromo? How are the technical sheets for the next Carnival? What are the plots and sambas that will rock the members and the audience on the days of revelry? Which schools won and what were the rankings in the 'Sambódromo Era'? How were the samba-enredos and the parades of the champion schools? What are the main carioca carnival awards?
Launched in 2014, the application Carnaval na Sapucaí (formerly iPapodeSamba) gathers this and other information about the samba school parades of the Ouro Series - which are presented on the Friday and Saturday of the revelry; and the Special Group - which pass through Sapucaí on Carnival Sunday and Monday. And if you're a fan of Rio de Janeiro's samba school parades, you'll definitely want to stay on top of what happens at the Sambódromo in these four days of revelry.
Created by Denise Carla, the application Carnaval na Sapucaí is an offshoot of the Site Papo de Samba (2001-2019) launched by the journalist in partnership with the graphic designer Mari Patuelli. The visual identity of the app bears the signature of a great man in ilustra: the visual artist Glen Batoca.
In the app, the reveler has access to the main information about the preparations and the parades of the samba schools in the Sambódromo in Rio de Janeiro on any day of the year.
Carnival at Sapucaí is free. Just download and get ready to enjoy the greatest show on earth in tune with what the clubs will present at Passarela do Samba in the next carnival and remember what has already been shown in previous years.
