Grendhaa-The search of lost triumphs
Planet Meru was the home of a peaceful and primitive Ur, as they are later called, because at the time, they had no language or technology. Each night they prayed to the strange god in the sky, a streak of light majestically cruising across the starless expanse as the universe turned. Their lives were short and brutal, so they didn’t notice how each night, each day, century and millennium the light was shining brighter and closer to their lonely planet. Then there was no day or night anymore, the celestial object passed so close to the surface that it changed it forever. Most of the Ur fled deep into dark caves and tunnels and those who stayed… changed.
According to the legend Arnoru climbed the highest peak and sat there for years, unmoved, staring into the Light above. And while he watched, his eyes unblinking, his hand moved, writing page after page, until the book was complete. The tome, named Grendhaa, contained the secrets of creation. With Grendhaa, Arnoru began changing the world: he raised mountain ranges and filled in seas. He created all kinds of creatures and plants, and built towns and villages for his people. But most importantly, he created the City of Celestial Light, a breathtakingly beautiful maze of towers, gardens, palaces and endless dungeons.
