Distance Education has been a great trend in different segments of education in Brazil and in the world. Distance Education had existed since the 20th century, in the form of correspondence courses, radio programs and other means. But it was the Information Technology Age that drove the development of this modality. The web has been the main channel used to sustain distance education, through tools called Virtual Learning Environments. However, with the exponential growth of Smartphones and mobile technologies, there is a demand for tools for this type of platform. In addition, the routine increasingly occupied by numerous activities, especially in large cities, where people spend a lot of time in transportation, makes it difficult to find time to study, especially new subjects, that escape academic and / or professional experience. From this context, this work presents the development of a unique learning tool for mobile devices, based on the Android operating system, proposing the idea that it is possible to learn any subject using about 6 minutes a day, with classes in video format and fixation exercises.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
