Step By Step Guide To Install ADC-8 USB Analog to Digital using BlueStacks
- Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
- Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. The ADC-8 USB A to D Relay Controller App is the ideal solution for hundreds of applications where monitoring of analog levels and control of external devices is needed. Connect any of EECI's USB Analog to Digital converters to the USB port on your phone or tablet and monitor the analog output levels from any sensor or device with an analog output. Relays may be used to control HVAC equipment, motors, flow rates, demand usage, appliances, indicator panels, heaters, robotics, alarms and thousands of other electrical devices.
This App allows you to energize or de-energize a relay and monitor analog levels from your tablet or phone's touch screen. The App's start-up screen allows you to control 8 relays. Touch the relay button for the desired relay and the relay will energize (button will turn red when relay energizes). Touch the button again and the relay will de-energize (button will turn green when relay de-energizes). Label the relay buttons as needed from within the App or just create a text file. App storage is turned off by default but may be turned on under App Permissions. Storage may be left off and is only needed to save the app settings.
Control up to 64 relays when relay expansion cards are added to any of EECI's Analog to Digital converters. The additional relays are controlled by selecting the desired screen (8 relays per screen).
The App also allows you enter setpoints to control the corresponding relays for the purpose of temperature control, to set pressures, flow rates, motor speed, etc.
The ADC-8 USB A to D Relay Controller App has been developed to run on Android operating systems Android 3.2 up to 11 which includes Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat, Oreo, Pie, Q and Red Velvet Cake. Root permission or special driver not needed for most Android phones and tablets that use the Android operating system 3.2 or higher (Honeycomb and up), just enable USB Host Mode*.
