DESCRIPTION:

The primary difference between this timer application and others (including native applications) is that this timer leverages the concept of phases. It is also possible to setup single phase timers which behave like typical timer applications. However, multi-phasic timers are often more appropriate. For example, when using the popular Pomodoro technique, one can setup a timer with two phases (25/5): 25 minutes for work and 5 minutes for the break. Another example is for agile style time-boxing: lean coffee (10/5 or 5/5/5) or backlog refinement (4/4). A gentle notification and/or vibrate denotes the end of each phase and a longer alarm and/or vibration denotes the end of the timer.

Additionally, this timer support the capability of assigning a backlog (to do list) of tasks to phases within a timer.

The application does request the ability to vibrate (phase and timer boundaries) and access the network. Your data is storied locally, but I am currently working on the ability to load a backlog of tasks from Trello, and that requires network access. Nothing fishy.

Become hyper-productive by time-boxing everything!

PUBLIC TEST INSTRUCTIONS:

I originally implemented this application for my personal use: not intending to make it publicly available. Friends and associates have encouraged me to bring it to market. It is my intention to offer it for free and continuing development based on donations. So I hope that you will give it a try (if you have an Android device) and provide me feedback.

I have implemented helpful hits to guide new users through the learning process. Please let me know what you think about this aspect of the application. I am also interested in hearing your impressions and recommendations for improvement for the application overall.

I would kindly ask that you review the release notes prior to making a suggestion, I will attempt to keep the notes up to date with known issues.

I have also begun the process of translating the application into Spanish. My Spanish is not strong, so don't be bashful about suggesting improvements.

Thanks for your help.
