In this post, I am going to show you how to install MomCensor on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install MomCensor using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "MomCensor" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

MomCensor does one thing and one thing alone. It censors what your kids can type into their smartphones. Here is how it works: it replaces the default keyboard on the phone with a custom keyboard that the MomCensor app helps you install. The free version comes with a list of 10 common swear words that it blocks. The free version gives you a chance to test it out and make sure it works on your phone. Please remember the Parental PIN you create, because if you forget the PIN, the app cannot be uninstalled. The Pro version (which you can optionally purchase for a minimal one time fee) blocks a mega list of lurid and obscene words and expressions that effectively block any kind of filthy communications from coming out of your phone.

The app does not communicate with our servers. No information in any form is sent out of your phone. All the action happens right there on your phone. Yes the app functions by intercepting whatever is typed into your keyboard. Yes in theory all the credit card numbers or the secret recipe to KFC chicken or the President's nuclear code or whatever else you type into the keyboard is intercepted by the custom keyboard. But here is what actually happens: Lurid words and expressions are replaced by **** . No information leaves your phone. No intercepted information is stored in the computer. MomCensor dynamically listens for prohibited words and blocks them , regardless of where you are using it, whether it is on facebook or chat messenger apps or the internet browsers. We respect your privacy, and no information in any form comes from your phone to our servers. Please be sure to download this app only from the Google store, and to purchase the Pro version only from the Google store. To maintain security and the integrity of the app, we do not sell it anywhere else.
