Grazebrook Maths Fun is a free (no money, no ads, no in-app purchases, now or ever) maths quiz game created by a Grazebrook parent just for the fun of it. It has not been created by, or for, Grazebrook School, professional educators, or any educational authority.

The app is only intended to be downloaded and used by Grazebrook students. It is password-protected, so if you're not affiliated with Grazebrook, you won't be able to play it.

To make the difficulty level of the randomly-generated questions appropriate for the current player, users log in indicating their class name and a two-character ID. No other user information is requested or stored.

The player is presented with equations and word problems designed for his/her Year Level. The answer must be selected from four multiple-choice possibilities, and points are scored according to how quickly the correct answer is chosen.

The app records players' scores on a cloud-based database, and the top 5 scores in each Year are presented on a Leader Board.

The game is not meant to be used as a one-off "test". Each time the child plays, the specific figures used are likely to be different, but the patterns will be similar - so the player is almost certain to experience the "I'm getting good at this!" feeling the more she/he plays.
