You just have to bring the slider to the point that best describes the pain felt by the person, considering to take it to the far left means no pain, and take it to the far right means that the pain suffered by the patient it is the worst pain imaginable.

Once this is done the "Done" button is pressed, and displayed the number that reflects the pain suffered by the individual. This result can be saved for future revisions of the patient or to show the appropriate healthcare professional.
