After you have downloaded and installed Tracker, before opening it, beware to enable Internet (Mobile Data/Wi-Fi) and GPS, also make sure that GPS is set to high accuracy mode. Internet is mandatory in order to authorize you to the real-time server and location logging purposes. Setting GPS to high accuracy is not mandatory but recommended in order to provide your friends with your precise and current location.

Q. How to use this software?
A. After you have enabled both, open/run Tracker. For the first time, it will ask you for your preferred phone number against which your friends can track your location from server.

Please note that the login credential is sent to Google itself and complies with their policy. Your phone number is also safe as it will only be used in Google server only to serve the purpose of authenticating you and storing your location data once your friend searches you and will not be shared to any third party without your explicit consent.

The phone number you have entered will be verified by sending an OTP (6 DIGIT NUMBER) to it, all you have to do is to put the OTP number to input box and press OK. It will then create your tracker account and start updating the database with your present location.

Q. How to track one of my contacts?
A. Just select the third button from the top right buttons, it will provide you with your phonebook contacts ordered alphabetically, phone contacts followed by sim contacts. Just select a contact by clicking on it, and if the number is using tracker, the location of the same will be shown within 10 seconds on the map automatically. It will also show you how old the location information is (in less than a minute to more than an hour scale) and a charted route to reach that location from your present location, if available and if the location is not too close to your location.
