Tangsel Messenger (TM) is a lightweight but reliable and safe message exchange application because it is equipped with end to end encryption. South Tangerang Messenger is used as a forum for communication between officials within the South Tangerang City Government.

Featured TM FEATURES:
1. Group TM can not be limited to the number of members per group.
2. TM can be used to send files in any format.
3. Photos and videos sent are not resolved.
4. Timer to delete messages automatically after being read by the recipient.
5. The TM user can activate the screen capture prevention function.
6. Security TM groups differentiate rights between Group Owners, Group Administrators, and Group Members.
7. Comprehensive encryption (message) of messages, including messages in groups, so that the message content can only be read by the sender and recipient of the message.
8. The contents of messages sent on the network (online), are processed on the server and stored in the database on the cellphone, all encrypted with the user's key.

USER PRIVACY:
- The TM server stores the user's mobile number as an account in the system.
- Server TM does not store user's personal information.
- TM server does not store message content after it has been sent to the user.
- The TM server admin cannot read the message content because it is end-to-end encrypted with the user's key.
- If there is hacking on the network and TM server, the hacker will not be able to read the message content because it gets the message in an encrypted form.
- Message leakage is still possible due to physical security weaknesses or user device technology.
