Feeling is everything!
Finally, an X-trials game that is based on the same challenges as the real-life competitions.

XY-Trials is a physics-based motorcycle game that requires balance, coordination, timing and finesse. Work your way through obstacle courses and exercise your precision and skill to the fullest to score good track times with as few mistakes as possible.

Features
  19 tracks and counting
• Only two bikes so far
• More than 70 scream sounds

Notes
Note that this game is hard in the beginning! No way to surpass this. As the control of the player is more fine and detailed than in traditional games, it also requires more effort from the user. However, with practice the controls will proove intuitive and give fine detail sensitivity.

The game is recommended for kids from 15 years and up due to the difficulty of the game. There are bikes and levels in-the-works that will suit a younger audience as well, so keep posted for coming updates.

Requirements
Good enough performance is absolutely essential for this game to be enjoyable. Devices from 2015 and onwards are generally able to handle the game well. Look at the recommended devices list on the homepage to get an idea whether or not your device will be capable enough for XY-Trials.

Download size: 430 MB.

Detailed description
Forget the dumbed-down games where you jump with a button. There is no jump-button in this game! Instead, you control the bikers arms and legs to shift the bodyweight back and forth and up and down. And this needs to be done in a timely and coordinated fashion, so that you utilize the springing motion of the bike’s suspension. For an in-action explanation, see the videos at our homepage.

The biker and the bike work as a compound physical entity. The biker can do hard aerobic exercises, but if the movements are not timed accurately, the bike might not lift off the ground.

As a player, you need to be weary of the environment and the biker’s current state. Depending on the starting position, a jump can turn out very differently even though you as a controller give the very same input.

Many jumps require a little preparatory thoughtwise effort. For example, you may need to think through how to balance the bike in several steps over a sequence of obstacles. No jump is the same as the other! But not to worry, there are often multiple strategies that will get you across an obstacle, some more hurtful than others.

Expect to make pretty crude jumps as you start learning. You will fall over, you will bash helmets but hopefully you will be able to get through the tracks. As you develop your skills you will find new more polished ways to drive the bike. As you continue to improve you will find that you can do things you never thought possible.

The game is not a one-to-one mapping of the real world sports that is called trials or X-trials, but the challenges faced in the game are of the same nature, i.e. balance, timing, coordination, understanding physics and being able to perform quick adjustments on the fly.

This is a hard game. No one gets it from the start. Don’t expect to. But as you give it enough tries, it starts becoming more and more intuitive. Give it enough time, and you will learn a fine precision control that is more detailed and responsive than anything you have tried before, giving you the freedom of riding over obstacles which would be considered impossible in conventional bike games.

How good can you get?
