Voice recognition software has grown so much in the past few years. Just think about it: ten years ago, it'd be inconceivable that the every day person could one day just talk to their phone and have it talk back to them, let alone be able to give them information in a perfectly natural way. However, there is one stand out issue: the default voice assistants on Android and Amazon smartphones simply are not powerful enough to handle our needs and be the virtual assistant that we really need. So apps have been created that are more powerful and more helpful to the end user, and who can act as your personal assistant, in a way that the default voice search cannot. But there is one problem that these new apps have in common. This problem is that they are too complex to load. They may be very good, but users don't want to have to search for their apps in their app drawer, open the app, and then click on the microphone icon, and many would rather use the subpar voice searches built into their phones instead of deal with the hassle of loading the higher quality apps. Enter O. O is the world's first voice assistant which is listening the moment you turn on the app. that way, it's just as easy to load O as it is to load your default voice search. As O is more powerful, this makes it the go to choice for anybody interested in a fast and easy voice assistant experience. Here are some reasons to use O:
NO NEED TO CLICK THE MIC:
With O, there's no need to ever click the mic. O listens to you the moment you turn on the app so you can get right into your researching with ease. If you'd rather not have O listen when you turn on the app, you can switch that up in settings.
SIMPLIFICATION OF YOUR ANDROID:
O simplifies you phone, with commands that can tell you more about your device than any other voice assistant available.
THE POWER OF SAVERSHOT:
O has the full power of Savershot behind it's searches. When you ask for something not about your device, we'll send you to a Savershot results page full of some of the most useful Savershot tools available, as well as great and powerful search results. But, if you'd rather use Google, Yahoo, or Bing, jump over to settings and switch your search engine.
CONTROL YOUR PHONE WITH YOUR VOICE:
Assist O isn't only about the internet. Use O to place a call, send a fully voice controlled text, or even get directions to a specific address.
PAR LE VOUX FRANCES?:
Use O to translate words and phrases using Yandex into 9 languages:
Spanish, French, German, English, Indonesian, Malaysian, Mandarin, Russian, and Dutch.
O IS A HANDS FREE ASSISTANT:
Talk to O without ever using your hands. Do everything hands free. O can also talk back to you, explaining what's now needed of you , so you don't need to look at what's going on.
DRIVING MODE:
When you're driving, there are some things you want, and some that are just distracting. Driving Mode turns on when you say "turn on driving mode" and it streamlines your whole experience, cutting out distractions while still allowing you to make calls, send texts, get directions, and similar things. However, O leads you through the whole process so you never need to once look at your screen.
WORKS WITHOUT VOICE TOO:
Don't want to use your voice in a public place? O has a set of built in "Quick Actions" such as "Make a Call" and "Hire a Cab" which you can use without using your voice, making O a powerful aid in situations where you don't want to speak up.
PLAN YOUR TRIPS:
O has partnered with Yelp! in order to bring you the best unbiased reviews and booking tools for hotels and restaurants in the United States, The UK, Canada, and Ireland.
