DiabMemory is a diary for health and fitness data developed by AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH (http://www.ait.ac.at) within a research project in cooperation with the Versicherungsanstalt für Eisenbahnen und Bergbau (VAEB, http://www.vaeb.at) which can synchronize with the web based therapy management system "DiabMemory" (https://www.diabmemory.at).
You can record health and fitness data (e.g.: blood glucose level, medication intake, nutrition intake, heart rate, steps/day, wellbeing, comments) with the application as well as view your data in a tabulary form.
Near field communication enabled measurement devices (NDEF, FeliCa) can be used to ease the acquisition of blood glucose level, blood pressure and heartrate, steps/day and body weight.
The use of extented features provided by the integration into the online therapy management system is limited to partners of VAEB - Versicherung für Eisenbahnen und Bergbau. These extended features cover the synchronisation with the web system as well as direct feedback messages provided by the respective physician.
Please note that for complete and accurate storage and transmission of data DiabMemory is relying on the functional capability of your end user devices as well as a functional data transmission.
