The following are the special Quran surahs included in this app:

1. Surah Al Fatihah: According to the prophet Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), Surah Al-Fatihah is considered as “the greatest Surah” of the Quran. It is the Ar Ruqyah cure for all evils like black magic, evil eye, witchcraft, sorcery and soon.

2. Surah Al Kahf: “Whoever reads Surah al Kahf on the day of Jummah will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next.” (al-Jaami)

“One who memorized the first ten verses of Surah al Kahf will be secure against the Dajjal (Anti-Christ).” (Muslim)

‘Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah (Friday), a light will shine for him from beneath his feet to the clouds of the sky, which will shine for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be forgiven (his sins) between the two Fridays.’” [Al-Mundhiri رحمة اللہ علیه said, this was narrated by Abu Bakr ibn Mardawayh رحمة اللہ علیه in his Tafseer, with an isnaad with which there was nothing wrong]

3. Sura As Sajdah: The 32nd Quran sura. Hazrat Khalid ibn Ma'dan (RA) said: "Recite the Deliverer, which is Sura Sajdah, for I have heard that a man who had committed many sins used to recite it and nothing else. It spread it's wing over him and said, O My Lord, forgive him, for he often used to recite me. So the Lord Most High made it an intercessor for him and said, Record for him a good deed and raise him a degree in place of every sin."

4. Surah Yasin. It is the 36th surah. Sura Yaseen is commonly known as "the heart of the Quran."

Hadhrat ‘Ataa’ bin Abi Ribaah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) says that the Prophet Mohamed (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) reportedly has said, “Whoever reads Surah Yaseen at the beginning of the day — all his needs for that day will be fulfilled.” It's the equivalent of reading the whole Quran 10 times.

5. Surah Ar Rahman. On the Day of Judgement, sura Ar rahman will come in the shape of a human being who will be handsome and will have a very nice scent. Allah (S.w.T.) will then tell him to point out those people who used to recite surah arrahman and he will name them. Then he will be allowed to beg pardon for those whom he names and Allah (S.w.T.) will pardon them. If recited at night, then Allah (S.w.T.) sends an angel to guard the reciter until he wakes up and if recited in the daytime then an angel guards him until sunset.

6. Surah Al Waqiah. The Holy Prophet (S) has said that a person who recites Surah Al Waqiah will not be from among the absent-minded ones. Poverty does not come near this person.

7. Surah Mulk saves the one who recites it from the torment of the grave.

8. Surah Ikhlas. This Surah has many rewards and its recitation is compared to reciting a third of the Holy Qur’an. Reciting it thrice brings blessings on the entire family of the reciter. If Surah al-Ikhlas is recited 11 times, the reciter will have palaces built for him in Jannah.

9. Surah Al Falaq. It is narrated from the Holy Prophet (S) that whoever recites this Surah in the month of Ramadhan in any of his prayers, it is as if he has fasted in Makkah and he will get the reward for performing Hajj and ‘Umra.

10. Surah An Nas. Surah an-Naas and al-Falaq are together called Ma’udhatayn. Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) has said that whoever recites this Surah in his house every night, will be kept safe from Jinnaat and the evil designs of Shaitan.
