VIEW DEALS ON A MAP AROUND YOU: Browse unwanted stuff around you for sale and swap; offer items, cash or a combination of both to get a deal you want – you can even get stuff for free. With Paperclip, you can browse 2nd hand items for sale locally, and you can use our handy map view to see just how close those items are to you - they could be on your street!

SELL STUFF QUICKLY, FOR FREE: It takes just seconds to add an unloved item for sale or swap. All you have to do is take a picture, name your item, assign a category, and you’re away! Nicholas Louch of South Wales holds the record for fastest time to add an unwanted item, weighing in at just 5.8 seconds. Surely someone can beat this man.

NEGOTIATION HAS NEVER BEEN SO FUN: On the fence about an offer you’ve received? Simply tap the ‘negotiate’ button to make a better deal. You can chat directly with others and make counter-offers within the conversation. Paperclip is the only app that encourages you to negotiate rather than just saying yes or no, the way shopping should be.

NO PRICE TAGS: Items on Paperclip do not have a visible price tag. This means you have a better chance of getting more for the stuff you are selling, and if you’re a buyer, it eliminates those annoying inflated prices which put you off buying an item. Sellers can still set a minimum price but buyers won’t see this, it means you will only get offers above the set price and saves you the hassle of dealing with low-ball offers.

FOLLOW YOUR FAVOURITE SELLERS: Paperclip is social as well as local, we encourage our buyers and sellers to chat to each other using the in-app chat before making a trade, as well as being able to follow your friends and traders you like.
