In this post, I am going to show you how to install DataGarrison Terminal on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install DataGarrison Terminal using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. The DataGarrison Terminal App is a configuration program for Bluetooth-enabled DataGarrison Weather Stations.

DataGarrison Stations are solar-powered environmental monitoring stations, which transmit real-time sensor data via either satellite or cellular data networks. This App allows users to check sensor values and station status, as well as set parameters such as the data logging interval. Once configured properly, users can view plots and access their data at DataGarrison.com.

Quick Start Information:
1) Be sure station power light is flashing every two seconds before attempting to connect to it with this application.
2) Also be sure that a 'Bluetooth' command has been sent to the station from your account at DataGarrison.com withing 48 hours of a site visit. This ensures that the Bluetooth features are enabled for proper communications. If this command has not be sent, you must hit the reset button inside the station enclosure, and wait for the boot sequence to complete and the power light begins flashing every two seconds.
3) If not paired already, pair your Android device with the station.
4) Open the App, and select the station from a list of available Bluetooth devices.
5) Click on the 'Help' button on the App for further instructions.
