Step By Step Guide To Install iBKS Zone Modes using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

IBKS Zone Modes is an application that allows you to configure the connectivity and notifications of your smartphone according to beacon proximity, defining some rules in a zone. With this app you can turn of the sound when you enter in a library, meeting room, or turn on the 3G when you go out from your office. The possible aplications are infinite.

The features of this app are:

-Scan and view beacons with UUID:02020202020202020202020202020202
-Define, according to one beacon: Sound, vibration, 3G, Wi-Fi and range actuation of the beacon.
-Modify any parameter with only one touch from the app screen.

IMPORTANT:

- App only available for devices with Bluetooth Smart LE v4.0 and Android 4.3 or newer.
- Due to Android OS limitations, you might need to try to connect several times to an iBeacon device till you are able to view and modify its characteristics.
- To avoid false entrances and exits to a zone the app makes an average with several reads, slightly affecting the performance time in exchange for providing more stability and reliability.
