Help In Hand on Windows Pc

Engineering students find some problems like
- During Sessionals we all circulate notes in our whatsapp groups but later on it is a very difficult task to search previous notes again in our mobile phones.Those who don't use whatsapp are unable to get those notes..
- Secondly we search for previous year question papers when we have our semesters final exams.
- Next due to shortage of books in library.Students nowadays download E-books of respective subject available on internet.But sometimes student fails to find a specific book.

So keeping such problems in mind I have developed a mobile application "Help In Hand" which is a one stop solution for all Engineering Students.

Without internet connection you cant operate this app as data in fetched and uploaded in app at runtime.So Good internet connection is mandatory for using this service otherwise app will not work properly

Help In Hand is a kind of Digital Library with following features:

1) First And foremost a student have to sign up with his/her univ roll no and make sure you input your valid email id and password must contain lowercase uppercase numeric values and at least one symbol.
2) In case you forgot your password you can reset it by generating Email OTP code.
3) After Successful Registration you can log in with your univ roll no and password
4) Now if you want to search for any e-book, Notes or Question paper just input the name of file in the search bar.If the file will be available then you can open it.Otherwise the file is not available in the app.You can upload it if u want
5) By default i have uploaded some of the books and notes available with me.
6) Now if a student wants to upload new notes then he/she can upload by clicking on three dots spinner in the home page and make sure you select the respective department and file category in which you want to upload
Necessary conditions while uploading a file

- In case of Book Upload
File Name should be Exact Name of Book
Author Name should be as it is mentioned on the book
- In case of Notes Upload
File Name should be Notes serial number with Subject name and with Semester Name
Author Name should be Name of the student who made the notes, Name of Teacher in case notes provided by Teacher
Description should be Semester - Subject Name with topics covered in the notes and additional information if u want to add you can add
- In case of Question Papers
File Name should be Subject Name and Year of question paper
Author Name and description you can add anything

7) When one student upload any file then every registered user will get that file in his/her account in the respective file category and respective department.

8) Manage books will only show the files uploaded by you
9)Only Database administrator and the Student who uploads a specific file can delete that file.The access of deletion is not given to all.

10) Once you download any file then you can open it offline also in the downloads

Important Note - When a user uploads any file. His/her name is automatically uploaded with the file and every user of the app can see the uploader name in File details .So make sure you don't misuse the app and you Upload appropriate files only.If anyone uploads any wrong file which contain inappropriate content then Strict Actions will be taken against the user.

I have tried my best to make the app user friendly.
