Kids Chat is a safe messaging app for children. Only parents can approve connections so you can be sure who your kids are messaging with.

Parents sign up first with Facebook and create a Parent PIN number. This PIN number is then needed to add contacts or accept contact requests. Please note that you must keep your PIN number secret in order to prevent new contacts being added without your approval.

Kids can then freely use the app in “safe mode”. This means that they can only chat with the people that their parents have already approved. If a new contact request is received then the parent needs to approve the request.

Parents create usernames for their kids which are deliberately not searchable for safety reasons. You’ll need to find out the usernames of your children’s friends by word of mouth or other communication such as email. If a parent sends a contact request it is not enabled until the parent of the recipient has approved it.

Let your kids enjoy their first steps in messaging safely with Kids Chat.
