In this post, I am going to show you how to install Jumpstart for AndroidLost on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install Jumpstart for AndroidLost using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. There is no graphical user interface for this app. So first install this app, then androidlost, wait a few minutes and finally log in to www.androidlost.com. If all goes well you should get a "Congratulations..." message.

Please note that there is no guarantee that the registration will take place. If the thief has blocked your account (if your phone is locked and he has tried three times) or has done a factory reset you will not be able to install any app.

After a successful registration you should uninstall this app. Otherwise this app will test if the app is registered correctly all the time.

Requires androidlost version 2.15 or higher on phone.

Please note that google has changed the android API so this app only works on android version < 3.
