In this post, I am going to show you how to install Let's Play Timer (BETA) on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install Let's Play Timer (BETA) using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. Ever needed a silent alarm? Or an alarm that when it goes off is attention grabbing enough for you to notice, but subtle enough for you to ignore?

This timer is the best way to keep track of your Let's Play recording, set how long you want to record for and at the end of the time the application can flash the screen or give short vibrations to let you know to start wrapping up your recording.

Once the time is up a count is kept for how far over your time you are, so you can see how long ago you should have stopped.

The flashing screen is easily visible as long as your phone is in your field of view, but if you'd prefer you can enable the vibration mode and keep it in your pocket instead. The vibrations are designed to be short and to pulse briefly every 20 seconds until you turn the alarm off. The idea is that your microphone shouldn't pick them up, however this will vary by device and how loud your vibration motor is.
