LOVE AND LOVE RELATIONS

It is important to realize that we are: Being, Consciousness and Love. This awareness restores the truth about who we are and dispels a widespread deception that makes us believe in a false identity, "me". This major achievement marks the end of a stage where the "me" was master. This awareness especially announces the beginning of a new stage where freedom and truth occupy a greater place.

When it is realized that WE ARE LOVE, relationships with others are experienced differently. The need to love and to be loved gives way to I AM LOVE. Like a sun that warms and enlightens all that is touched by its rays, each meeting becomes the occasion to disseminate pearls of love. The will to give love is replaced by a fountain from which flows naturally love. This stream is not concerned about whether someone benefits. Like the spring that springs, it is totally free and always available.

The habit of working with the mind taught us to evaluate a relationship using a two-column chart; one where is written what we like and the other what we do not like. The balance of the two columns is then calculated to decide whether to continue or stop a romantic or friendly relationship. When it is not the two-column method that is used to decide the issue, it is with a certain amount of unconsciousness that some will do something harmful to the other in order to end the relationship.

Relationships, like all existing realities, begin, continue and stop. No existing reality is eternal. What is eternal is what we are, the Self. Meaningful relationships are a gift of life. They are not the result of the will. We can not decide to breathe life and meaning into a relationship. When life is withdrawn from a relationship, it becomes difficult, if not impossible, to pursue it. Sometimes our fears have enough power to mentally maintain the relationship and prevent us from seeing that it has come to an end.

I have experienced some deep and rich love relationships with exceptional men that I have left when Life told me that our paths must be separated. When the momentum to share the daily has faded, only one option was offered to me, breaking the relationship. Have I stopped loving them? Certainly not. Love is always present between us. What has changed is the way love is embodied. If love has long been embodied through a daily experience and sharing of intimacy, it is now incarnated through a ten-minute telephone call or a brief meeting. I give thanks for these transformations taking place in me and in relationships.

Love can not die, it is eternal.
As for the relationship, it is constantly changing.
We can not lose love. How could we lose it since we are a source of love?

In order to anchor the truth, wisdom invites us to direct our consciousness on "who we are" rather than "what we live". Free from the fear of losing or missing, we can appreciate that relationships are built and deconstructed as we go. The unshakable certainty that I AM LOVE leaves little room for fear and offers many new ways to embody love.
