Step By Step Guide To Install Midi2Audio Demo using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. "Midi2Audio SFX" (Demo) converts*** MIDI files to ogg or wav using SF2 soundfonts.
It allows to adjust the MIDI output before exporting:

+ use any SF2 soundfont (no soundfont included!)
+ apply effects (Reverb, Chorus)
+ ogg quality scale (1-10), bitrates (128 - 320 kbit/s), or fixed wav rates (16 bit 44100 Hz)
+ transpose the MIDI file (+/- 12 semitones)
+ mute/solo single tracks
+ adjust track volumes
+ change presets/instruments
+ play the midi file (preview audio result)

***PLEASE NOTE: In this demo version only 50% of a MIDI file will be exported!

Soundfonts: This app does not contain a soundfont needed for rendering the audio. You'll have to provide your own.
TIP: The app "MIDI Voyager free" ships with a soundfont. When you install "MIDI Voyager free", abs will be able to find the sondfont and use it!
