MailPlex is one of the best email clients for Android because it provides 4 email systems in one. It includes one local email client, and a remote access to servers in which you will be able to start up three email clients: Thunderbird, Evolution and Claws-Mail:

- Thunderbird is a free, open-source, cross-platform application for managing email, news feeds, chat, and news groups.
- Evolution is a personal information management application that provides integrated email, calendaring and addressbook functionality.
- Claws Mail is an email client based on GTK+ aiming at being fast, easy-to-use and powerful.

The local email system is the K-9 email client optimized and adapted.

- Spam protections like self-learning junk mail filter and phishing detection.
- Finds messages fast and lets you filter results comfortably by date, contact and more.
- Many extensions to expand its features.
