BBS Network, Inc. is a corporation engaged in the production and the distribution of original, superior quality, audio media content, of all types and genres. We engineer and produce over 120 hours of live original programming every week via our studio facilities in Paradise, California. The live broadcasts are then archived within our massive audio library becoming a permanent part of this passionate endeavor.

BBS Radio is one of first networks to provide live talk radio broadcasts professionally and remotely engineered. Most other networks aired pre-taped shows, basically non-live or "on demand" events, while others provided show streams from traditional FM and/or AM Radio Stations. Still others used home equipment to broadcast their own radio talk show, a network of usually one voice (one stream), without any interactivity. During our inception in 2004 there was possibly only one other radio network providing remotely engineered live internet talk radio services. We are a pioneer in this environment and have helped create and define this new craft, worldwide.

Few fixes to improve user experience

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
