This app allows us to locate mental patients who are prone to disorientation and getting lost. It is especially designed for Alzheimer's patients, which are usually elderly, hence the name of the app.
We can establish a security perimeter from a given point. This can be the size in meters we consider appropriate.
If the patient leaves the perimeter, we would be informed by email. Explaining to us what patient it is, where and at what distance it is, and what is its number (in case calling is useful). Likewise, a sound warning is also established for the patient and, optionally, another for asking for help.
If you remain outside the perimeter we will be periodically informed of your position through the selected email. We can define the periodicity of these messages in minutes. For each message there will be a sound message as we have defined it, with or without a request for help. The reason for allowing the request for help is optional, is because reporting that there is a particularly vulnerable person with a smartphone may not be a good idea depending on the danger of the area, and consequently, I leave it at the discretion of the user configurator.
If you return to the perimeter we will be informed again through the email provided, also, another message will be reproduced for the patient informing you. HOW TO USE:
1 - Start the application at the point you want to consider as the origin to establish the circle that will be the security perimeter. If possible, do it from a point with visibility of the sky, for example, the door of a nursing home.
2 - Stay still until the "GPS ADJUSTMENT" sign disappears.
3 - Fill the data, it is not necessary to save them to work, but it is highly recommended so that if the app is closed they can be recovered when it reopens.
4 - Press the "GO TO SECOND PLANE" button.
5 - Place the smartphone in the patient's pocket (the screen can be turned off).
