Step By Step Guide To Play AR Bounce for Project Tango using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

Description
A game where players compete against each other shooting baskets to an augmented reality basketball board created by one of them and placed in their shared physical space.

Game instructions

For SINGLE player mode:

1. Launch AR Bounce game app.
2. Select Single player mode.
3. Hold your Tango tablet in front of you.
4. Look for the basketball board following the arrow indicators.
5. Start shooting some hoops by swiping to throw the ball. You'll have 1 minute.

For MULTIPLAYER mode (two Tango tables in the same physical space connected to the internet):

TANGO TABLET 1:
1. Launch AR Bounce game app.
2. Select Multiplayer mode.
3. Choose “New game”
4. You can either select an already created map from the list or create a new one. Next steps are for "Creating a new map"
5. Follow instructions and walk around to scan room and create map.
6. Name your map, for example: "Office".
7. Export map created.
8. Walk around until a code is displayed. Share it with your opponent.

TANGO TABLET 2:
1. Launch AR Bounce game app.
2. Select Multiplayer mode.
3. Choose “Join game”.
4. Introduce the code your opponent shared with you.
5. Walk around until the game starts.

Both players will take turns to play. Each will have 10 seconds per turn. The player that scores 3 baskets will win the game.

Considerations

For the game to be played in multiplayer mode, both tablets need to be connected to the internet (wifi or data). Without internet connection, only single mode will be available.
If you are behind a firewall, open port 6568 (allowing socket and http services).
Internet connection should be stable. During game play, it's not allowed to change among wifi connections.
Do not lock the Tango Tablet while game play. This will make the game crash.

For the game to be played in multiplayer mode, both tablets need to be connected to the internet.
