In this post, I am going to show you how to install Remote Camera - Cam Custodia on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install Remote Camera - Cam Custodia using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. How to use:-
At Android Device
1. Install and run the app
2. Switch on WiFi and the app will display the device IP and Port no

At Computer
1. You need to install VLC and activate the browser's plugin
2. Open your browser (we use Mozilla)
2. Enter the IP and Port no as displayed on your Android device (eg: 192.168.1.3:8080)
3. If successful, you can view the control panel to Start Streaming or perform other functions

Besides streaming live video, you can also perform the following functions from remote browser:-
1. Modify the camera setting
2. Turn on/off the camera flash
3. Vibrate the device
4. Ring the device
5. Switch front or back camera
