Welcome to Knowtify 2.0!
This is the new revolutionary school diary app to replace the traditional school homework diary. It is designed to give the students everything they need to know, all in one place, within a simple user interface.
Not everybody likes to use Facebook to keep in contact with their students about the everyday running of their subject. This is where Knowtify comes in.
The main feature of this app allows those in your school's college community to:
- Receive notifications from teachers and school administration.
- Create and share Google Calendars with students or other college personnel, to 'knowtify' them about due dates for assignments, school events or important dates (e.g.: trainings).
- Receive Google documents (Via Google Drive) created and shared by the teacher or school administration.
To achieve this the student/teacher must log into Gmail with their school Gmail account provided by the school. Once they have added their Gmail account to their phones, they can then be emailed by the school/teacher inviting them to accept the calendar(s)/document(s) that where created by them. By accepting the invite the student/teachers/groups can now be 'knowtified' and kept up to date with whats going on around the school and in class via the Google Android platform.
This means that if a student loses their phone, they can log into their Google account on any electronic device and access their Google calendars, so they are always able to keep up to date with events and due dates.
Please note that you do not need a Gmail account to use this app, however it is highly recommended in order to receive notifications from the school.
Knowtify 2.0 functions just like a personal diary however it is the teacher, not the student, that inputs data/information pertinent to the subject/team/group.
Other features include:
- Upload school notices
- Upload school calendar (Google)
- Login to NZQA portal to access student grades
- Login to Student/Parent portal to access student grades/fees etc
- Ability to access Gmail and Google Drive (To access student emails and student documents posted by teachers/students).
- Google login system via Google Platform (in settings menu).
- Contact school
- Create and fetch Calendar Events
- Link to school website
Other additional features include (settings menu)
- Select your school or another school to view college notices/calendar.
- Action bar colour option
- View Knowtify Events and Deals Google Calendar (See whats going on in the country and around the world for events and deals etc.).
