In this post, I am going to show you how to install Tempwatch on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...
Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Tempwatch using BlueStacks
- Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
- Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
- Once installed, click "Tempwatch" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.
How to install Tempwatch on Windows PC using NoxPlayer
- Download & Install NoxPlayer at: https://www.bignox.com. The installation is easy to carry out.
- Drag the APK/XAPK file to the NoxPlayer interface and drop it to install
- The installation process will take place quickly. After successful installation, you can find "Tempwatch" on the home screen of NoxPlayer, just click to open it.

Short user manual:
1. Start using the app by starting the data scan on the main screen.
2. After a few moments press the button "Sensors" to show all scanned sensors.
3. Select all desired sensors and press "Close".
4. Temperature values are now being shown on the chart.
5. Chart time span can be changed by selecting from the list "Timespan" above the chart:
a) hour
b) day
c) week
6. Navigation through time can be achieved by following methods:
a) by fast swipe to the left (forward) or to the right (back), moving in time by previously selected timespan
b) by selecting desired date and/or time using button "Time"
7. Pinching with two fingers zooms the chart.
8. In order to reset the chart zoom level, "Reset View" button can be used.
9. In the list "Sensors", clicking and holding the sensor name opens up configuration screen:
a) an user-friendly name can be given instead of an unique identifier in sector "Name"
b) color can be changed using the list "Color". This color will be visible on chart
c) choose MIN and MAX values of alarm in alarm sector. Alarms can be turned on or off
d) sensors can be completely deleted by long-clicking the button "Delete". Scan must be manually started after that
10. Alarm values (after turning alarms on) will be visible on chart, of same color as the corresponding sensors.
11. Notifications and vibration will notify the user about alarm activation.
12. Press button „Settings ⚙“ to change the following:
a) scan rate. If app consumes too much power, lower it. Scan will be less frequent and there will be less data points
b) language. The app will restart itself in a new chosen language
13. By using the button "Export", following actions can be done:
a) current chart can be saved to gallery (in JPG format)
b) save chosen date into CSV file and send it via e-email
14. App and scan can be completely closed by using the button "Exit".
15. Clicking phone button "Back", minimizing the app or phone falling asleep will not stop the scan.
16. User is notified about the scan by notification in the notification bar (top of screen). Clicking it will reopen the app.
