The application Follow Brasilia innovates the concept of public transparency in Brazil, making the Brasilia Government pioneer in creating mobile tool for the provision of public expenditures and revenues, compensation of servers and scale of health professionals. The information is organized in a simple and intuitive way so that the citizen can not only access them, but mainly comprises them.

SIGA Brasilia will enable citizens, practically, monitor the costs incurred by the Government of Brasilia. All amounts paid by the government will be presented by the bank orders, which can be searched by the lender's name, by the body, by date, by bidding method, by subject area (health, education, among others) or also by Regional administration. The goal is to equip civil society to the full exercise of social control, monitoring and controlling, where stowing, the use of public resources.

In addition to public spending, with SIGA Brasilia citizens can follow also the public revenue of the Government. In addition to the total collected by exercise, detailed information on the collection of taxes will be made available, fees and traffic fines.

Another consultation provided by the application Follow Brasilia is the remuneration of public servants of the Government of Brasilia, with search by name server, for organ and server status (active, retired, etc.). About this consultation, the Brazilian Supreme Court concluded recently that the disclosure of the remuneration of public servants with the name of their respective holders is of general interest and does not violate the right to privacy and privacy (Article 5, section X of the Federal Constitution ). The person who decides to join the public service adheres to the legal regime of the Public Administration, which provides for the advertising of all information of the collective interest.
