Step By Step Guide To Install DescarteINFO using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

The DescarteINFO application arises from the need for a better structuring of urban planning and Solid Waste management, with an emphasis on the proper disposal of household recyclable materials and utensils. The average user is offered an application capable of assisting in the correct destination of recyclable materials (raw material) to the recycling industries in order to retake a value chain in the market. It is also possible to find locations for the disposal of hazardous waste and materials for donation through a smartphone application, in which functions for registering the collection points for the materials to be collected are available, as well as characteristics of the materials and the receiving places: type of material, address, opening hours, contact. For companies that transport or dispose of waste, it is possible to monitor the status of the collector (full, partially full and available) and reports to be sent to the industry manager's email.

The application has:
- More than 700 collection points for solid waste and utensils;
- Availability of materials received by each point;
- Information regarding the address, telephone number and opening hours of the disposal sites;
- 20 categories of different wastes and utensils.

Among its advantages are:
- Indication of points for selective collection of recyclable waste, such as glass packaging, long-life packaging (tetrapak), PET bottles, metals, paper, cardboard, plastics, canvas banner and PET bottle caps;
- Indication of donation points for clothes, old furniture, appliances and books;
- Indication of hazardous waste disposal points, such as residual oil and fat, cell phones, cartridges, electronics, batteries, lamps and medicines;
- Indication of other residues, such as construction debris and pruning remnants.

Finally, this application integrates information on the conscious disposal of waste, which is often unknown to the population, serving to contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable city.
