CaloRatio was created by a weight loss surgeon to help people measure the quality of their diet, rather than just focusing on the total number of calories consumed.

Your CaloRatio score will be determined by calculating the ratio of the good calories you consume like those found in whole foods like fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds and beans to the number of bad calories consumed from processed foods.

This revolutionary approach to calorie counting teaches the users of the app to focus on eating as much healthy food as possible in order to “crowd out” the processed food. This technique promotes a long term lifestyle change that helps users to maintain their weight loss, rather than focusing on unhealthy starvation techniques that inevitably result in weight regain.
