Step By Step Guide To Install Discover Hong Kong‧AR using BlueStacks

It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

Use your phone’s camera to scan your surroundings and the Augmented Reality (AR) feature shows your current location in the city, points out nearby attractions, restaurants, food districts and shops, and provides you with distances and how-to-get-there information for easy navigation.

It keeps you in the know
Get updates on the city's unique attractions - the 'must-sees', great outdoors, family fun, fascinating culture and heritage and hot events – you name it.

It helps you find what you need
Search amongst over 7,000 restaurants, shops and accommodation# by cuisine/shop type or district, most of which are accredited by the Quality Tourism Services Scheme.

What doesn’t it do? Load extra roaming charges on your phone bill, as all the maps and information are available offline*.

This app was co-developed by Hong Kong Tourism Board and Cathay Pacific.

Remarks:
- Supports English and Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
- Supports mobile phones running Android 4.0.3 or above with screen size up to 1080 x 1920 pixels.
- When the 'Update' button is pressed, internet connection is initiated. When connected to the internet via cellular data, data roaming charges might apply and an alert message will pop up to remind you. There are no roaming charges when using Wi-Fi.
