In this post, I am going to show you how to install Sindh Health GIS on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Sindh Health GIS using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

Note: This is a private application and not for general use.

This application is for the sole use of the Sindh Health Department to record the geolocation information of the facilities belonging to the Department.

Each user would be provided access by the Automation Office. Access shall be given and withdrawn at the Automation Office's discretion depending on which areas are to be covered.

The application supports two-way synchronization of data from the main server. This allows working without a connection to the Internet. Data would be synchronized when connectivity is available. The recording of the geolocation is done by visiting the facility and clicking on the button to record the information..

The application does not allow recording of the location of a facility more than once. If a location is recorded by mistake, contact the Automation Office immediately.

Note: For best results, the recording should be done when standing outside so that GPS information becomes available.

GPS must be turned on for correct recording.
