Step By Step Guide To Install Easy App Locker [EAL] using BlueStacks
- Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
- Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. ► "EAL" is lightweight , consumes less memory and consumes less power.
Typical Usage:-
=============
1) After installing the "EAL" , Set the password. This password is needed to launch the "EAL".
2) Select the applications to be locked or allowed. Just tap or press the app in the list to move the app from allowed to locked list or from locked to allowed list.
3) Start "EAL" service. This service can be stopped only from "EAL" after validating using the password.
4) Whenever a Locked app is launched , "Easy App Locker" service will ask the user an option to Unlock the app by giving the password.
5) For the above step (4) , if user provides correct password , locked app will be added to the allowed apps list.
6) If "Request to Unblock when Locked apps are launched" is not "Checked" in "EAL" Settings, when a locked app is launched , it will be minimized immediately.
7) User can move the app from allowed to locked list or from locked to allowed list in "EAL" after entering the password even when "EAL" service is running.
8) "Settings" and "Play" will be locked temporarily when "EAL" is launched. This is to prevent the users from installing or uninstalling the apps. "Settings" and "Play" can beunlocked only by using the password.
9) User can Start or Stop the "EAL" service after entering the correct password.
10) To Uninstall "EAL" , disable "Device Admin" for "EAL" and then uninstall. Option to disable "Device Admin" is provided.

► Locked and Allowed applications are shown in two separate lists. Easier for the user to lock and unlock the applications inside "EAL" with a single tap.
► Applications can be moved from blocked to allowed state and allowed to blocked state by simple press / tap on the applications displayed in the lists.
► Option provided to lock the app completely. When a locked app is launched , it is possible to minimize the app immediately without providing an option to the user to allow the app.
► Locked app can be unlocked and added to the Allowed applications by giving correct "EAL" password when the locked app is launched.
► "Settings" and "Play" are locked temporarily whenever "EAL" is loaded so as to prevent applications from being installed or uninstalled. User can manually unlock both "Settings" and "Play".
► "EAL" requests for "Device Admin" when starting the service. This will make sure "EAL" will never be uninstalled by any means even by using "adb shell".
► No restrictions on password. User can select whatever password they wish.
