Step By Step Guide To Install Tabla Tuner using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

Tuning the tabla is an art mandatory procedure that every tabla player must know and follow. It’s very important that your tabla must be tuned to the right scale for the best quality tone before performance. If one point is in Tabla face is out of tune, the sweetness of the sound is lost. In Indian Classical Music, we all tune in to one particular sound scale out of 12 notes or scales ie; C, C#, D etc.
Tuning or Scaling Procedure:-
a) Tabla is tuned with a special hammer specially designed for this purpose that is available in most of the shops. While purchasing, please take care to purchase the heavier one. It has a blunt head to tune, a sharp head to fix and the other side is designed to get the rawhide belt over the wooden blocks call as Gutti or Geti etc.
b) The dahina or tabla is usually tuned to the first keynote ‘Sa’ or sometimes tuned in to the fifth keynote ‘Pa’, there are times where some compositions require tuning of the fourth keynote ‘Ma’. c) Play the keystroke ‘Na’ or ‘Ta’all the way around and find an approximate note on which you feel the tabla tuned to.
d) Then create the sound of the desired note on a tune with this “Tabla Tuner” Application
e) Usually the tabla can be tuned 1-2 scales below or above, depending on the quality of the skin and tension in the straps.
f) If the tabla is too high or low, it can be adjusted to suitable one.
g) Tabla Tuner-The Android Application is an universal application which can run almost in any version of Android Phone. It is a light weight application specially designed for Tabla students, Players and Teachers for scaling or tuning tabla before their performance.
h) All the 12 Notes/Scales/Tunes are looped individually to play 50 times once player started. Within this sufficient time a Tabla can be perfectly tuned, no doubt. In the Interface there are 12 notes presented from ‘C’ to ‘B’ which can be played just by touching the button and with a long press to the same button the tune can be stopped.
i) There are many tuning application found in the Google Play Store for all other instruments like guitar, violin etc. But, no one found a tuner for Tabla. So this application “Tabla Tuner” can be the first Android Application for Tabla users to tune their Tabla conveniently and manually.
j) Again this Application takes very less space in your Android device as approximately it consumes only 7 mb space.
k) So far it’s price is concerned, it costs only Rs.99/-(INR) just to feed the developer.
