In this post, I am going to show you how to install ATView3D WFC on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install ATView3D WFC using BlueStacks
- Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
- Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
- Once installed, click "ATView3D WFC" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

It supports the most popular 3D formats including stl, 3ds, dxf, vrml, etc. Those formats are widely used by 3D applications including AutoCAD, Maya, 3DS Max, Civil 3D, Catia, SolidWorks, Google Sketch up, etc. With help of this app, you can take your 3D files with you no matter where you are and view them with your phone (or tablet) directly.
The app provides many 3D features including rotating model with finger movement, zooming in/out, changing color and light intensity, etc. You can rotate 3D model in any direction, or only along x, y or z ****. You can load multiple files, view them together, and they don't have to be in the same format. You can view model in 3D rendering or wireframe mode. You can also use it to find out information about your files, for instance, the file size, the height, width and depth of your model, total surface area, total length, etc.
3D data files can be added to your device's external storage folder called 'afanche'. Just connect your phone (or tablet) to a PC and copy 3D models to the 'afanche' folder of the device. After that, you can use the app to load the models. If you have files in system 'download' folder or any other folder of your device, you can use the app to find and open them as well. You can use the app to open files from email(attachment) or web (by downloading). The app also supports third party file management app, for instance, DropBox, Box, etc. Note, if you don't want to use viewing email attachment feature of the app, you should download another version of the app, which is called ATView3D MFC.
The app is not just a 3D data file viewer. It is also a file organizer. You can keep project files in different sub folder. The app provides file sorting feature to help you find your model quickly. You can sort by file name or file creation time. If you need share 3D model, you can use in-app email feature to send your model out as email attachment. You can use the app to create folder, move files between folders or remove folders or files. The app also provides you zip/unzip function, therefore, you can save all your project files into a single zip file. It is especially helpful for formats like 3ds which have separate texture image file outside of 3D model.
Please make sure you use the Menu button of your device. Many features of the app are only visible after you press Menu button.
The app provides native support for multimedia including image, video and audio. This way, you can manage picture or video of your project and 3D files together. The app provides features for you to have a peek at the raw data of files in ASCII (text) or binary format.
