With 14 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships, six regional titles and five NCAA Division III top-five finishes, Delaware Valley has one of the premier wrestling programs in the country. The Aggies have had just one losing season since 1969-70 and have posted three undefeated campaigns in their history.
In addition to 14 conference titles, the Aggies have also had 12 runner-up finishes. Nationally, the 1988-89 Aggie squad went a perfect 18-0 and earned the Division III number one ranking during the season. They crowned three individual national champions that year and finished as the nation's runner-up. In 2004, Delaware Valley finished fourth at the NCAAs and brought home a national trophy.

From 2007 to 2010, the Aggies competed at the Midwest Regionals (a qualifying tournament for the NCAA Championships) and they dominated the action with four team titles, four coach of the year awards, two most outstanding wrestler awards and 24 national qualifiers. The 2008 edition had a school-record eight NCAA qualifiers and four came back as All-Americans as Delaware Valley finished fifth in the team standings.

In 2009, the Aggies posted a 21-1-2 record and were ranked as high as second in the national poll. They shared that spot with eventual national champion Wartburg College after tying the Knights on their own home mat in January. Delaware Valley had a school-record five wrestlers earn All-American honors, including Mike Wilcox who won the 184-pound national championship and was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament - the first Aggie to ever receive the honor. Delaware Valley once again took fifth in the team standings.

The 2010 edition tied the school mark with five more All-Americans and a third straight, top-five finish. The next year, two more All-Americans were crowned and the team had a 19th-place showing at the NCAAs. In 2011, new head coach Steve Cantrell led the Aggies to a 16th-place national finish while two wrestlers came home with All-America honors. One of the them was Zak Andrews as the two-time All-American also earned a pair of Scholar All-American accolades. Last year, the team produced five national qualifiers and two All-Americans, including Emmanuel Ajagbe who was ranked first in his weight class for a portion of the regular-season. They also had another Scholar All-American in Charlie Frankel.

Delaware Valley has had nine individual champions, 69 All-Americans and 97 MAC Champions in the program's storied history. One of the national champions is former head coach Brandon Totten, who captured back-to-back Division III titles in 1995 and 1996 and is a member of the Hall of Fame. He is one of two Aggie to win multiple championships with the other being current assistant coach Shaun Smith, who went 88-1 with three NCAA Division III titles in the late '80s.
