Linde Pre-Op-Check 3
"Why was ’Truck defective’ reported?"
"Which truck does the photo showing the damaged fork arms belong to?" "The 'language' aspect is often a topic in your warehouse, keyword 'language barrier of employees'?"

There is a solution for these questions:
the Linde Pre-Op-Check app simplifies and improves the truck check.
Fleet managers can create checklists within connect:desk and assign them to trucks individually. Drivers use the app and the checklist to check the condition of the trucks before each use.

The truck check is also a form of access control. The truck is only enabled once the driver has completed the checklist without identifying any serious faults.
Thanks to truck check via the app, each fleet of trucks remains secure and in top condition — and with no language barriers or paper documents.

Access control
The truck check is also a form of access control. The truck is only enabled once the driver has completed the checklist without identifying any serious faults.
The app connects to the truck via Bluetooth. Trucks can be added as favourites for faster access.

And anyone who doesn’t want to select their preferred truck from the favourites list each time can activate the "auto connect" feature for one of the favourites: the app then automatically connects to the truck and opens the assigned checklist. Could it be any easier?

Truck check
A checklist is a simply structured, digital questionnaire. Fleet managers can create checklists within connect:desk and assign them to trucks individually. Drivers use the app and checklist to check the condition of the trucks before starting work.
The questions in the checklist can be answered with "YES" or "NO". Depending on the answer, the next question is asked, a photo is requested or the truck is locked (Trucklock).

To keep the fleet manager updated, the results are transferred from the app to the Linde connect:desk fleet management system almost in real time. The faster damage is reported, the faster the truck can be repaired.
Save valuable time at the double — with the app and connect:desk.

Documentation
Anomalies or defects on the truck can be documented with photos. Subsequently assigning the photos to a truck is no trouble at all: a report in connect:desk shows the fleet manager the questions, answers and photos for each truck check performed. The app not only makes visual inspections of the truck easier, but also enables paperless archiving: the backups of the connect:desk database also contain the results of the Pre-Op-Checks in digital form. Paper documentation is a thing of the past.

Operational safety
To increase operational safety in the storage area and on company premises, the truck is only enabled once the driver has completed the checklist without identifying any defects.
Thanks to the truck check via the app, fleet managers discover defects earlier and can react faster.

Multiple languages
Language barriers disrupt collaboration. Questions and instructions can be created in multiple languages to remove language barriers. The driver can select their preferred display language. The better the translations, the more the fleet manager can rely on questions being understood.

Individual checklists
Fleet managers can individually adapt the type and number of questions to the application and intensity of use of the truck fleet. No matter whether several trucks use the same checklist or each truck is assigned a separate checklist — the app always asks the correct questions.
