Dominoes Score Keeper takes all of the work out of keeping score for Mexican Train Dominoes. No longer a need for paper and pencil. Now you can use your smartphone and/or tablet to keep score. Simply add player names, start playing, and enter scores when a player goes out (scores are totaled automatically by your device). Score Keeper maintains a summary sheet showing each player's total score and how many wins he/she has. Player results are displayed in order (low score on top, high score on bottom). You always know who is winning or losing and by how many points, easy to keep the competition going.

When the game is over, the detailed scoresheet can be emailed to the players who would like to see the results. The phone/tablet running this app must have a working email service in order for this feature to be available.

Optional statistics are collected over the last 4 and 24 games to assist serious players in perfecting new game strategies. Performance is summarized as a single number for game scores (points) as well as game wins (going out), 100 being equal to average of all other players. Numbers above 100 indicate better performance, numbers below indicate less than average performance.

The interface is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Most players would rather not be score keeper when it is done with pencil and paper. With Score Keeper anyone can be a great score keeper with almost no effort.

A score sheet is maintained that is similar to most paper score sheets. It shows each game listed by the domino played, score for each player for that game, and totals after that game is added to the existing totals.

There are at least two versions of Mexican Train Dominoes.. a 12 domino set and a 15 domino set. Score Keeper supports both versions via setup options.

There are various rules relative to when a player goes out and another player has a single domino that is the double blank. Some rules give that player zero points while other rules may charge points for the double blank. Either set of rules can be accommodated via setup options.

If a player shows up late and the game has already started, you can add them in with a score equal to the average of scores for existing players. All you have to do is enter the name and save..

Player names can be entered before each game or added to a player list and selected from a list prior to play.

In addition to running on most smartphones, Score Keeper has been optimized for tablets with screens greater 3.5 inches wide. When running on these tablets, the print, buttons, etc. are all larger and easier to use for anyone with problems with small print.
